The adventure continues…..Year four…
A good flight with Singapore Airlines despite forgetting to book a room in the transit hotel in Singapore airport for our seven hour delay…managed a few hours kip on the floor.
Slept well on the second leg and still managed several movies.. “The Martian” was our favourite.
Arrived in UK to a nice day and picked up our VW Golf without incident and off to Norwich.
Had two nights in Norwich with Ralf and Julie, two nights in South Newington, near Banbury, with Keith and Kirsten and a week on Hayling Island with Natalie, visiting Paul and Mary most days.
Lots of great “catch up”, meals out and as usual being throughly spoilt.
Had a few days extra on Hayling to get to know the place better, some lovely walks along the beach,golf course and estuary.
Collected Lefty, he had passed his WOF easily and everything was as we left it six months ago.
We changed our gas from Butane to Propane which has fixed the issue we had with the boiler… Butane loses it’s efficiency at about 3 degrees whereas Propane can operate at very low temperatures.
So, we’re full with diesel, have enough food to last a month and are off to France at 23.30 tomorrow night with no idea of where we’re headed!!
